Driving without a valid driver’s license/conductor’s permit (expired, revoked, suspended, inappropriate RC/class/fake/tourist beyond 90 days/ student not accompanied by duly license driver)
Driving MV used in the commission of crime upon conviction by a regular court of competent jurisdiction
Driving an MV under the influence of alcohol, dangerous drugs, and/or similar substance upon final conviction by a regular court of competent jurisdiction (Section 12, R.A. 10586)
If – No physical injury/homicide (a); with physical injuries (b); Homicide (c)
a.) 3 months imprisonment and 20,000.00 to 80,000.00
b.) Art. 263 of RPC and 100,000.00 to 200,000.00
c.) Art. 249 or RPC and 300,000.00 to 500,000.00
Non-Professional DL shall be confiscated and suspended for 12 months (1st offense)
Perpetual revocation (2nd offense)
Professional DL shall be perpetually revoked (1st offense)
Perpetual revocation/disqualification from granting any kind of license (2nd offense)
Reckless driving (includes driving an unregistered MV)

Failure to wear the prescribed seat belt device (includes allowing a child six year old and below seated on the front seat)

Failure to carry Driver’s License, Official Receipt, or Certificate of Registration while driving a motor vehicle
Driving an unregistered MV (includes improperly registered, expired/revoked/suspended or invalid registration/unregistered or fake substitute or replacement engine, engine block or chassis). MV shall be impounded and shall be barred for a period of one year from payment of the fines. Undocumented engines shall be confiscated in favor of the government.
Unauthorized Motor Vehicle modification
Operating a right hand drive Motor Vehicle
Motor Vehicle without or with defective/improper/unauthorized accessories, devices, equipment, and parts
Failure to attach or improper attachment/tampering of authorized Motor Vehicle plates and/or 3rd plate sticker
Fraud in relation to registration of the Motor Vehicle and/or it’s renewal

Due to the agency's systematic approach, scheduling your subsequent motor vehicle registration is actually easier than anticipated. The LTO doesn't merely slap some random numbers and letters on your license plate to serve as a means of identification. In fact, a certain number corresponds to the day on which you should register your vehicle.
Below are tables that show the registration dates depending on the number listed on your license plate:

So say your plate number is ABC 1234. You are required to register your motor vehicle in April (since the last number is 4) between the 1st to 7th day of the month (since the 2nd to the last digit is 3). This regulation applies to any form or configuration of all plate numbers.

NOTE: Due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, LTO has implemented safety protocols in its offices causing long queues. For this reason, LTO has extended the validity of vehicle registration for 30 days. As such, if your schedule is in August, your vehicle registration schedule is now adjusted to September. No penalties and surcharge shall be collected for renewal transactions within the revised schedules.

Yes, you can completely transfer your next registration to other LTO branch. However, you have to note that you will be charged Php 100 for Change of Venue (COV) of your motor vehicle registration. It’s not much but it’s good to know so you won’t get short on cash.
