Day 1

Los Angeles - Las Vegas - St. George (336 miles)

In the morning, guests will be picked up in the Los Angeles area. We will start our day following the route of the San Bernardino Mountains toward the Mojave Desert on the way to Las Vegas, NV. Once there, we will stop for lunch and to pick up those passengers who have chosen to join us in Las Vegas. From here we will travel east, spending the night in the town of St. George, UT.
Arrival in Las Vegas, please meet your tour guide in M GM Grand Hotel (West Wing Bar Starbucks Coffee) at 2:00pm.

Day 2

St. George - Arches National Park - Grand Junctions (560 miles)

Today, we will travel to Arches National Park to see sights such as the famous Delicate Arch, symbol of the state of Utah. After admiring these amazing rock formations, we will travel to the city of Grand Junction, Colorado, where we will spend the night.

Day 3

Grand Junctionsl - Dillon - Denver (234 miles)

We will begin our day by traveling through the Eisenhower Johnson Memorial Tunnel. Once we arrive in Denver, CO, we will visit Red Rocks State Park. After lunch, we will take a tour of Denver, the state capital of Colorado, and pay a visit to the Coors Brewery. We will spend the night in Denver.

    Eisenhower-Johnson Memorial Tunnel

    The Eisenhower-Johnson Memorial Tunnel has several unique features that make it an interesting visit. The tunnel is nearly two miles long, and located 11,000 miles in the air-- making is one of the highest tunnels in the world.

    Just steps outside the city of Denver, this mountain park in Colorado features impressive geological structures as well as a large outdoor theater, the world-famous Red Rocks Amphitheatre, which has been a part of the park since 1941.

    State Capitol

    This impressive building in Denver, Colorado is the home of the Colorado General Assembly and the offices of the Governor of Colorado and Lieutenant Governor of Colorado. The neoclassical building is supposed to resemble the US Capitol.

    Coors Brewery

    The Coors Brewery in Golden, Colorado is the largest brewing facility in the world and the headquarters of one of the world's most prolific beer distributors, established in 1873. Tours of the massive distillery include beer tastings.

    Closed on 5/25 and 9/27, will visit Geological Museum instead.

Day 4

Denver - Cheyenne - Mt. Rushmore - Crazy Horse - Devil's Tower - Gillette (564 miles)

In the morning, we will pass through Cheyenne, WY, on our way to Mount Rushmore, where we will arrive in the afternoon. Then, we will continue to the Crazy Horse Memorial and the Devil's Tower National Monument. We will spend the night in Gillete, WY.

    This famous United States monument in the Black Hills of western South Dakota depicts the busts of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln. The 60-foot tall statues are carved right into the side of the mountains.

    Crazy Horse Memorial is the world's largest sculpture-in-progress, and frequent drilling and mountain blasts make each visit unique. When completed, Crazy Horse Memorial will stand 563 feet tall by 641 feet long.

    The first declared United States National Monument. It'is an igneous intrusion or laccolith located in the Black Hills near Hulett and Sundance in Crook County. A monolithic rock formation that rises 1,267 feet above the surrounding land and was once the neck of an active volcano.

Day 5

Gillette - Don King's Western Museum - Yellowstone National park (282 miles)

Early in the morning, we will depart for Devil's Tower before continuing to Don King's Western Museum. Then, we will travel to Yellowstone National Park to explore the beautiful scenery and see wildlife. We will spend the night here.

We will leave Yellowstone and drive along the Snake River to Grand Teton National Park and then continue on our way through Wyoming. After stopping in the classic Western town of Jackson Hole, WY, we will travel to Salt Lake City, UT to see the Mormon Temple and State Capitol. This is also where we will spend the night.

In the morning, we will visit the newly-renovated State House of Utah, the Mormon Temple, and Great Salt Lake. Later arrive to Bingham Canyon Copper Mine and view the mining operation on video. After that, we will head to Las Vegas, NV, where we will arrive in the evening.

    The Bingham Canyon Mine, also known as the Kennecott Copper Mine, is a large open-pit mine Southwest of Salt Lake City, founded by nineteenth century settlers, and is regarded as one of the world's most productive mines.

Later, we'll take a relaxing stroll through the gardens, a one-of-a-kind collection of Nevada's native flora. Leaving Las Vegas at noon, we'll make our way back to California, arriving in Los Angeles in the evening.
